Polished steel, heat blued steel. 125cm. 2002.
The first of a number of works using steel that has been hammered to the point where it splits and cracks. The polishing technique giving the lines in the steel is also a fairly new process. I find both these new techniques quite exciting, and I imagine I'll be exploring them further..... and look!.. right angles!! straight lines!. It's been 2 years since I last used straight lines....
